What did you think of the Miami vs. New England fights?
Mrkanovic is really good. I don't think he can match Daniels' speed, but I do think he will give Daniels problems. I think Daniels vs. Mrkanovic would be an awesome match-up for the 2007 season.
PS- Mrkanovic's KO (spinning hook kick) was pretty cool, but not as cool as Daniels'. Weird that it was pretty much the same technique that knocked Copeland out both times. |

I agree. Mrkanovic vs. Daniels could be a good one. Mrkanovic may be the only one to challenge Daniels this season in this weight class. However, bigj has suggested a few times that Daniels was at the low end of the weight class and fought at 195 to fight Thompson. (http://www.ikfkickboxing.com/wwwboard/showthread.php?t=1393&page=11&pp=10). Does anyone know what weight class Daniels will be in for 2007? I suppose a Daniels/Engle fight would be a decent fight at that weight.
I think the Steamroller adds a lot to the heavy weight division. Does anyone know if Vickers is moving down to 195 or staying as a heavy weight?
Are there any other newcomers to keep an eye out for? |

I'd like to see Daniels drop a weight class to fight Crafton Wallace. I have yet to be overwhelmed with Engle, I know he is a great fighter, but it hasn't translated to the WCL yet.
Moving Daniels and Vickers down and adding a solid heavyweight may make LA unbeatable.
Should be a great season... |

I kind of like Vickers in the heavyweight class, he is fun to watch and there are not many heavyweight fights that are fun to watch. Hopefully you change that, Steamroller. |

Mrkanovic might be the only guy to challenge Vickers at 195. I'd rather see him stay at heavy weight and fight Dean. If the format, cities and conferences stay the same Dean - Vickers will almost certainly fight each other. The only chance of Mrkanovic vs Vickers is in the championship round.
I don't see Wallace giving Daniel's much of a challenge. Whatever weight Daniel's and Vickers fight at LA will be tough to beat but Houston is still the team to beat. |
