Seriously, I just seen him on march 28th!! Unbelievable!! He has such great personality and fighting style!! I can see why he was last year's MVP!! I don't think St. Louis's coach finney gives him enough credit or spotlight though!!

I think Connors is great too! Really like watching him fight. Really enjoyed Connors vs. Maceo from NJ Tigers, but also enjoyed Oxley vs. Connors a lot. I think Connors is a badass. I agree with Overhandright that Coach Finney seems full of himself, but I think a great deal of that is all for the show. I am sure there is part of Coach Finney that likes to keep the limelight for himself, but I am also certain that he wants his Team to Win more than anything else. On the TV it seems that Finney just likes to get things heated up. Frankly if it gets more people to watch and helps keep the League going then I am all for it.
I was looking forward to seeing Connors in the Finals but NJ Tigers messed that plan up. I was really surprised with the win, but after all the crap Finney was talking about I think they must have been pretty aggravated. Now I get to see Maceo again and I like watching him too, he's got HEART!

We get it Overhandright: you don't like Finney. You mention that all the time. This thread is about Tim, so it would be great if you didn't turn this into a Finney vs All. Start a new thread for that if you like and we can complain about him there.
I think Connors is a great fighter and I've been a fan of his since he started in the WCL. He's got a lot of personality, he's got showmanship in the ring and he always fights hard. And let's not forget he has some great hands with a heavy right. Many great KO's have been delivered from his right hand.
My only gripe about Tim is that he doesn't seem to use his kicks as much as I'd like to see and instead relies on his (admittedly good) boxing skills. Which means to use those skills he has to get on the inside and he eats kicks along the way. Last match he had on Versus he looked like he was incorporating more kicks, and I think that made his fight more effective.

Tim seems like a good fighter, but I really reeeaally despise his attitude in the ring.
I'll admit, I'd screw with my opponents while we're fighting, but, I'm the kinda person that'd offer them a hand if I won.
He just seems like a dick. |

actually I know him personally and he's a great guy! So I think ur opinion is unneccessary!! "showboating", if u will, is a great part of the sport and incorporates the fans! He is very eager to entertain and has his head on straight!

Well, then I suppose if he's such a good person, perhaps he should act that way. Show boating is fine, but to the point of being as disrespectful as he is toward his opponents is unnecessary.

showboating is a part of the WCL.. They want their fighters to get the crowd hype.. Showboating gets you to love them or hate them and that makes for a great fight.. it also keeps you talking about them (negative or not).

QFT. It's not like the guy give an interview after his matches and says "Oh that guy was a moron and I hate him and I hope we meet outside so I can slash his tired." He's just giving us fans what we want, a fighter with some attitude!!
