There is always someone that the fans love to hate. Once again I think this is part of what makes the WCL so enjoyable. I have been telling everyone I know about it. _________________ The shortest and surest way to live with honour in the world, is to be in reality what we would appear to be; and if we observe, we shall find, that all human virtues increase and strengthen themselves by the practice of them.
licensed? to fight in point sparring and crap? wth u don't have to be licensWCL fighters are Professional fighters!
Professional fighters by definition are fighters that make a purse to compete. Most states require that a Professional fighter must be licensed to fight in their state. WCL fighters are licensed to fight in multiple states! Raymond Daniels is a Professional fighter with a WCL fight record of 12 wins and no loses. Five of his wins came by way of KO, one TKO as a result of injury.
The definition of a KO is not being unconscious. It is anytime a fighter does not get up by the end of the referees count. Also when the referee stops a fight and a fighter is still down, it is a KO. If a fighter gets up and the referee stops the bout because he can’t display the ability to walk straight, or if the fighter gets up and says he can’t continue, it is a TKO. In a multiple round fight, like Boxing or Kickboxing, if the fighter doesn’t answer the bell, it is also a TKO.

hey know it all, actually in point sparring a professonial is considered as a black belt and a under belt is a amature. also in tulsa a guy wouldnt keep fighting with daniels so they disquallifiyed him, so how is that a ko? also that hapen with one other fighter. also a tko is not considered if they get up and cant walk straight as u say thats a ko. Like when tankson fought, he was knocked out in that first fight with craig oxley, not a tko. Tankson didn't know where he was.

Steamroller is a WCL fighter, so I think he knows the rules better than you fighter1982. And yes, the definition of professional fighter had nothing to do with being a blackbelt, it means you get paid to fight. |

not in karate, take nbl (national black belt league) and ski (sport karate international) The differntence is nbl is professional with black belts and the ski is amature with underbelts. Naska and iska are similar. so in point fighting and continous sparring, you don't have to be licened to fight. I know in full contact you do and actually u have to be licensed to fight in full contact even as a amuature. |

Fighter1982, your instructor obviously never taught you humility, or you have just chosen to close the door on it. Why don't you just step up already? _________________ The shortest and surest way to live with honour in the world, is to be in reality what we would appear to be; and if we observe, we shall find, that all human virtues increase and strengthen themselves by the practice of them.
I would imagine these fighters have to deal with all sorts of crazy emotions. I wonder if they always know who and what they are portraying? I like to see some drama because it makes it interesting but I agree with Jefflee about the attitudes not always being so tasteful. It can ruin a fighter as quickly as it can create a star.
I like to see a well composed fighter who can knock the hell out of someone, but also put on a great show without being a real cocky jerk. I have not seen Santiago act outrageous, but I did not see the clip you are referring to Jefflee...if that was said perhaps it was meant as a joke?
yeah i'm sure it was. (meant as a joke) something about her and a few other's get's under my skin. as soon as either one of them talk i hit the mute button and crank up TOOL, OR SYSTEM OF A DOWN so i don't have to hear them. _________________ driving that train ,high on cocaine, casey jones you better watch your'e speed. - greatfull dead. casey jones. |
