As of today, the Tulsa Convention Center doesn't have anything relating to WCL on their events page. They currently show a Tulsa Oilers hockey game on Dec. 14th.
I would hate Tulsa to have a turnout like Denver because of poor planning, marketing, and lack of publicity. How firm is new venue and date? |

I hope so too as i am in the Tulsa area and havent heard anything in papers, tv or talk at all. Please dont wait to long as Tulsa has a good fan base but they need to know as there is a lot of things that go on here on the weekends that has sports. I was at an MMA event last week and they showed a vid about the event. There was about 2200-2500 in attendance but i assure that it will take a lot more to get the word out other than a vid. |

I just checked the Tulsa Convention Center, and there isn't anything about the WCL on the Events page. HOWEVER, I checked the Tickets page, and Tickets are currently on sale. So please spread the word!!! Would love to make Tulsa one of the biggest WCL Events!!!! |

It is about 2120 hrs on Friday night, the night of the fights in Tulsa. I am reading about the upcoming fight in the Tulsa World newspaer that was delivered this morning. I am just a fan and friend of one of the Tulsa Fighters, but I am amazed at the lack of forethought in announcing this fight. I will look forward to watching the web page for future announcement. Good luck WUZZY!!!! |
