With such strong fighters in every class, I don't know how Miami can be beat.
Those Houston folks better brace for a beating. |

Don't underestimate the Texans though, they've got some tricks up their sleeves. _________________

They certainly have some exciting fighters. Any word on whether they are replacing their heavyweight fighter? Chris Baten looked great at the last show. He's a great guy and would fit well in that slot.

I don't know of any plans to change the heavy weight fight on Miami Force. the only change I see is, me getting in even better condition and putting on a better show. :) - Kelly |

I was pretty sure that a few of the coaches at the Miami show were eyeing Chris with some consideration. I can't say that John Morrison was one of them. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't get an offer to join one of the teams for 2007 though.

Maybe he will get an offer to fight on a team, if not Miami, he may get picked up by someone. He did well, there is room for more good heavy weights. |

I hope that your right Kelly, I have been busting my rear to get down to 235# for this division. I have cut around 25 pounds and I'm walking around at 240# at present. I sure you agree, cutting weight is the hard on us big boys! Take care and keep on kicking!

Good Job Michael,
Yes I do agree,Since last January, I have lost 37 pounds. I still want to cut down more. I let myself get very bad out of shape. I am not to the point that I want to really start leaning out more and adding more muscle. Keep it up and you will get to where you wnat to be.
Do you have any plans or have you been notified about competing in 2007 events? looks like you only have 5 pounds to go, good luck and hope to see you in there soon. This is an awesome sport. First class all the way.

Hey Kelly, sorry for the slow response! I have been talking with Cory Schaffer since Nov. and was hoping to get in this year as a back up on one of the teams. I had to cut a lot of weight so this was the first thing that needed to be addressed. I am down around 238 today and feel great. I will have no problem making the weight now, just have to behave on my diet. I agree with you when you say this is an "awesome sport". I have been able to see a few of the shows on Versus and I think it rocks! I will be arriving in Austin on Friday for the show on Sat Jan. 20th, hope to meet everyone there. Keep on Kicking!

Michael,
Look forward to meeting you in Austin. My wife Trisha and I both fight for the Miami team. try to find us either before the event or right afterwards we usually go out and try and meet everyone. Maybe I can give you some more help in getting into the league. Can't promise anything, but would love to help all I can. get a dvd together of high lights and 1-2 fights, so the coaches can see how you fight etc... talk to you soon.

lmao! Fernando "Cool" Calleros & Timmy "Irish Pride" Connors, this post was from last years season! Check out the dates when posted at top of the box. Timmy, you guys already beat them. I didn't get to met Kelly Leo at the finals in Austin, because he and his wife were sick. It was a great time at last years finals watching Houston take the World Championships. I love the energy that you both have. St. Louis is a force to be reckoned with! I'm proud to call you fellows my teammates! Keep on punching and kicking my friends, this year is going to be the first WCL Championship repeat!

Miami IS the team to beat this year. St. Louis got a Maimi team limping into the finals last year with 3 of thier starters hurt. Miami is even stronger this year than last, with the some key off season additions this team is strong up and down the roster!!! Kudo's to John Morrison for those moves to make his team unstoppable!! Look out St. Louis!! The FORCE is coming thru YOU. |
