It looks like Felton is going to have some pretty tough competition this season. Longacre and Nick Gonzalez are in the 147lb division in the West. And WHEN the Stars go to the '07-'08 (?) Championship he may have to fight Connors. I know it is a little early, but how do you think Felton is going to do against Gonzalez in Denver?

This division becomes more stacked if John Greubel fights at this weight. He just won the 140-150lb. IKF amateur title for the 6th year in a row and finishes his amateur career undefeated, 21-0. I sat ringside as he knocked out both opponents in the first round this weekend. He looked awesome and should be able to mix it up well with the best in this group as he turns pro by joining the WCL.

Correction - John Greubel has won 6 IKF belts at their annual tournament, but not 6 in a row. It appears from checking old IKF news that he didn't compete in 2005. That year the FCR 147-153 lb weight class was won by a young man named Tim Connors.

really, you never know how someone recovers from the kind of accident he was in. He looks good, unlike his dad he's really quite and a bit stoic so it's hard to tell. J is a technician and will pcik you apart if his timing is there, that I quess we'll find out in Oct.

Longacre for the win. I can only hope he's been training hard off season 'cause last season he did a great job and had a LOT of potential. He just needs to unleash it!!

Jack's accident looks like it won't have any effect on his fighting. Longacre fought well and is a fine young man.
