Hey I went to both events in Austin and I really enjoyed myself both times. In fact I brought my wife to the championships and she really enjoyed it as well.
I am curious how the turn out was comparred to some of the other cities? With the way the new divisions are shaping up it does not look like Austin is in contention for a "Hometown" team. (even though my wife and I would have a hard time not cheering for Houston. She is a "Sugarfoot" fan and I love watching Timmy Conners fight)
Just curious if Austin turned out enough to keep a couple of show next season? |

I was at both the Austin and CT events. Both crowds were great in diffrent ways. Of course being close to their home towns affected the ways each team performed. the New England Strikes did really well up in CT and we all now how Houston performers in Austin. _________________ WCL=Big in 07 and beyond

Yea hometown crowds are always an advantage. My question really was if Austin as a city had a good enough turn out to continue to get a couple of shows next season. I don't mind driving to see it but it sure is a lot better when I'm 15 min from home. |
