I repeat my previous question : will the WCL release the video footages of the incident ?

does it matter .. you are going see the same thing anyway. You had conslusive evidence form a bootleg camcorder shot didn't you

Yes, it does matter. Do you fear that the official videos could show more than the cell phone shot ?

Why would you think that you could see something in the official footage that three rounds of experts did not see? I just don't see what the WCL could have done differently to make you happy. The three rounds of experts are likely less biased than you or I. That being said, I am in favor of the league releasing the footage. Why not?

I am not saying that I would be more clever than 2 of the 3 experts (not all 3) who didn't see a foul, I'm just saying I would like to see the incident by myself. I am something of a St Thomas : I believe what I see.
Valiss made a similar point yesterday.
I definitely believe the WCL should support the credibility of the decision by releasing the footages.

you remind me of the people who see the Mother Mary in peanut butter, toast, water stains and absolutely believe it to be devine. I absolutely believe you believe you saw a foul with the same religious certainty that they believe in the devine nature of what they see.

Big Jack, make a big effort, try to be rational for once. I still suspect there was a foul. You know there was no foul. Why do you object that I can watch the videos ? You should, on the contrary, agree with my request. Since there was no foul, the official videos will show it and I will acknowledge my error. While, if I can't see the videos, I will never be convinced that there was no foul and I will never acknowledge that you were right. .

i have no problem with anybody watching the videos. I'm sure those fights will be on versus soon. I just don't think anything will convice you or any of the other thompson diciples that Ray had nothing to do with the injury. The assertion was the what Ray did belonged in the mma are like the peanut butter virgin mary's... just plain nuts. the fact I said is if there was a foul give stephen the point and it was a 15-1 TKO...and you aren't going to acknowledge that I was right anyway...that would be thompson blaspheme

Fine : if you have no problem with anybody watching the videos, may I suggest you too ask the WCL to release them ?
And as far as my convictions are concerned, I already told you I am like St Thomas : I believe what I see. If the videos show me there was no foul, I will believe it but not before.

PS- I say show the video, Jean-luc and the Thompson crew will see a foul, Daniels' fans will see no foul, everyone else will say it is inconclusive.

The fight will be shown on Versus Channel like all the other WCL fights. At that point you are all welcome to watch it, record it, analyze it and make your own decision about it to your hearts content and hopefully get over it and enjoy the next season. I look forward to Stephen's quick and complete recovery for the injury and have him back kicking butt in the WCL.

I just saw this fight on the WCL marathon. I don't think there's anything to protest. Thompson got hurt and that's that. He lost. But just like the announcers were saying, that's not how Daniels wanted to win and that's not how Thompson wanted to lose. It would have been a good fight. When Thompson returns we'll see what the "real deal" is.

It is sad that the thompson's are so blind. Ray Thompson blew what would have been a wonderful oportunity for his son. There is no doubt of all the WCL fighters Wonderboy was the golden boy. The WCL hyped WB more than anyone else in the league. Upon his rehab, the promo of the fight with WB would have been exceptional. ..I just don't think the WCL can have in it's league such classless coaches and players, that when things don't go their way, go out of their way to villianize those that are behind the paychecks. There was nothing in it for the WCL to uphold the ruling of the ref. an independant board based on thier interpretation of the rules and the video of the event held it a TKO. bad break I'd be pissed but IT"S NOBODY'S FAULT! S HIT HAPPENS! I know everytime Ray and Jack and i'm sure donald too. gets a bad break they train harder and drive themselves to do whatever is necessary to overcome adversity...(donald maybe just hits you harder) but all of this, from jean-luc to all of thier friends who enabled RT's tirades and attacks , did them a great disservice. i just hope WB can separate himself from his dad and regain the respect they have lost in the way they have handled this whole situation
