The season is really heating up. The shows are different. The look too.
Please offer any feedback. |

the following two posts were posted on a different thread but on this subject...
I finally got to watch the Texas Dragons vs. LA Stars (Western Conference playoffs) on Versus last night. I was really impressed with the new format, showing the interviews, box score at half-time, and "in fight" penalty point indicators. Generally well done. The shows have gotten continually better from the beginning until now.
-----------
The new format was cool, I also liked Guy as the color guy because his sport and fighter knowledge was far better than the previous regime. Any chance we get Chuck as a color commentator for one of the events, perhaps a three man booth with Guy and Chuck.
Just a thought... |

Without doubt, this was the best produced WCL show to date. I liked the new format MUCH more than the old one. It's nice to have the fighters weight and height right when the match is going, along with pre-fight comments. Also, the new graphics during the show were real nice; much more modern looking and just seemed better put together. I cant tell you how frustrating it was with the old format not having the fight clock up the whole time. I mean, its a three minute fight; how can you NOT show the time left?!
On the ground, I'm glad to see the ring has the WCL logo on it; makes it seem more legit somehow. And I don't know if the uniforms where changed just for the championships or not, but it was easier to tell who was on who's team. Plus, they just looked more contemporary. I will also note, like someone else pointed out, that having Guy as the color commentator was a nice change. I think he did a good job overall.
At any rate, you guys have done leaps and bounds better than the previous shows, and it is much appreciated! Keep it coming and you got yourselves some long-standing fans! _________________ -Valiss |

I think it would be cool if the box scores were not only posted at half time, but also at the end of the event. |
