Is there Ever gonna be More teams. I mean I going for what teams we have Now but Come on WCL is My NFL As NFL is too a Football Player and fan

Need more out there...

WCL should go bigger just need to start Merching :lol:

There are 8 teams for this year and we are looking to expand in the '08 season.

Why is there only one female on each team?

To answer your question about why there is only one female fighter per team is simply that women's combat sports is still in its infancy. There is not as many female athletes as there are male athletes. The WCL is the only real professional combat sport organization that has women really being promoted as part of the regular event. As the popularity of the WCL grows, we expect the amount of female athletes will grow. - Guy

Guy, does the WCL do any recruiting in Asia at all? The only reason I ask is that there seem to be a lot of good women fighters there. This is especially true in places like Thailand where there is a blossoming Women's Muay Thai Circuit. That combined with the good training centers I would think would produce WCL caliber fighters. This is just my opinion of course, was just curious.
