| When I saw the fight live in Austin, I thought Connors was the clear winner. After watching again last night, the fight was REALLY close. Gonzalez pushed Connors the hardest that he had been pushed all year. I hope he returns to the WCL in 2007. |

| I don't think eric pushed him I think he beat him upon review. Looks like connors left in all in the ring against longacre, came out and had a let down. I really think eric beat him in the round and the overtime. i don't know if he could beat a fresh and ready connners but I think like when you tie or barely beat a champ the underdog ususally doesn't get the call...I think that's the story. eric may have beat him but didn't beat him convincingly which is what would have needed to happen to get the win. |
