I posted this on another thread and nobody responded. I think it is an interesting topic, so i will post it again:

You bring up an interesting question about who the "stars" of this league are in its infancy. If I had to put together an "all star team" (roughly by weight class, thinking that some could move up or down a bit) it would look like this:

- Light: Connors, Santiago (Felton -- alternate)
- Middle: Daniels, Wallace, Thompson, (Bourelly, Costanos -- alternates)
- Heavy: Vickers

That would be my team with three alternates...

195- donald with stephen in reserve
195+engle ?

I haven't seen everybody and I don't know what weights they can make. I know conners could move up and he and jason would be a good match. I'm not impressed with the 195 plus

I listed mine since i know ray and donald barely make weight and could move down a class.

Can Raymond really fight at 174? If so, he would be even more dangerous at that weight, imo.

Also, I thought Vickers was a 195+ fighter for sure.

I would have had Engel on my team, but I was not impressed with his effort in Austin.

I've seen engle twice and I think he had an off night and really didn't get any help from the judges and ya it would be real easy for ray and donald to move down donald is only 205 and ray started at a lightweight if you can imagine

I picked my "all star" team based off of the weight classes the fighters usually fight in.

128 lb - Santiago (alternate Sitzes)
147 lb - Connors (alternate Felton)
164 lb - Bourelly
178 lb - Engel (alternate Wallace)
195 lb - Daniels (alternate Thompson)
195+ lb - Vickers

Well I'd have Longacre in there myself. He always seems to pull good points.

Hard to put Longacre in there after seeing him get beat by Connors (he is a good fighter though). Longacre vs. Felton... now that would be a good match.
