OKLAHOMA RECENTLY TRIED TO SIGN KICKBOXING LEGEND MANSON GIBSON, BUT DUE TO "PERSONAL REASONS" MANSON WAS UNABLE TO FULLFILL HIS WCL REGISTRATION.
NO HE HAS THINGS IN ORDER AND WILL BE JOINING THE NEW YORK CLASH AT 178LBS.
THE "MASTER BLASTER" STILL HAS SOME FIGHT IN HIM, AND A LONG AS HE PASSES HIS MEDICALS AT 43, HE COULD BE THE MOST DANGEROUS FIGHTER IN THE LEAGUE AT 178LBS SINCE RAYMOND DANIELS.
VS MIAMIS CRAFTO WALLACE!!! WOW! WHAT A FIGHT!
I LOVE AND RESPECT CRAFTON, BUT MY MONEY IS ON MANSON. |

Manson Gibson was a great fighter in his prime but to say he could be the most dangerous fighter in his weight class since Raymond Daniels is a bit of a stretch considering his age. Mr. Cook says he's 43, but every site with his profile either lists him as being born in either 1961 or 1963 making him 45 or 47. He may have tons of experience but he's giving up a lot physically in terms of speed, endurance, and age to guys like Daniels, Engels, etc. I think the age difference would be too overwhelming for Gibson.
Even legendary fighters like Joe Lewis, Bill Wallace, Jeff Smith, etc knew as great as they were at a certain point they couldn't compete anymore against younger guys. |
