Njokuani is a good fighter and may start ahead of Taylor, so I would be surprised to see them drop him down. |

well taylor started out as anthony's alternate. then when ryan got hurt they moved taylor up in weight. so i didnt know if they were going to drop him back down in weight and be anthony's alternate again or if they are going to have him stay where he is at and fight daniels. i want the see him rematch jason bourelly _________________ wcllover |

Scott Clark of Canada posted on another message board that he was fighting for Oklahoma in the 178lb class against LA. |

Yes, this is the same Scott Clark. He is from Mike Miles Muay Thai Camp out of Canada. He has awesome Knee Strikes and is very skilled with them. Scott has won Multiple Amatuer Muay Thai Titles from many different organizations. He could be an upcoming force in this league.

How does sharing or trading fighters work in the WCL? Is it an open market or are there deadlines? Just wondering. |

Trading fighters? Beats me, but it seems like most of the trading players and moving teams is done in the off-season. Do the fighters get a season long contract or is it per fight/match I wonder. Maybe one of them on this board can fill us in...
All in all, I don't know who could take Daniels but I will tell you this: he hasn't really been tested. I haven't seen anyone land a really solid shot; for all we know he has a glass chin! I'd be interested in seeing him fight someone with a boxing background in the WCL. _________________ -Valiss |

If Scott Clark is fighting for Oklahoma in the Conference Finals, Raymond will face a worthy opponent that has a long history of Knocking people out. If LA makes it to the finals, I believe they will be facing either Miami or St. Louis. Either of these two teams has worthy opponents for Raymond, Jose Sulsona(Kickboxer) of Miami, and Kevin Engel (a boxer!) of St. Louis. All three of these fighters will enter the combat zone ready to fight. I'm looking forward to these up-coming matches. Something tells me that Raymond Daniels is looking forward to them also.

well i think taylor has earned the right to start at 178 or 164. And i also believe that he has earned the right to fight daniels for the championships. I looked on the team line up and it doesnt mention anything about scott clark. I would be very disappointed if they brought someone else in to fight daniels and make taylor an alternate again. I dont think its right to bring someone else in to fight a championship fight and they have never fought with the team before. Thats crazy and very disappointing. I hope its just a rumor. _________________ wcllover |

Thats interesting. Does that mean that fighters from all eliminated teams are up for grabs? Lawson Baker could really help the heavy weight slot for the Destroyers, and after the Destroyers beat the Stars can they pick up Daniels and Bourelly for the finals? Sweet!
The finals should look like all star teams from the east and west!! |

Well this topic is a good one, and I hope i can answer some questions. As we all know the WCL is a new and up and coming league. As far as the contracts are concerned each fighter is so far signed to a fight to fight contract, not a season long deal yet, but I know that the adminastration is putting somethings together. Reason is fighters are asked to showcase their talents and fight their hearts out each half and if you don't, well then you won't be back, simple as that. As far as fighters being picked up from other teams, it won't happen once playoffs start unless there was an injured fighter the show before and still even then i dont believe he will be picked up from another team. Once playoffs begin the rosters are locked, unless like i said an injury were to occur, and i'm pretty sure this year they won't be able to bring fighters in from other teams. They will have to find a replacement from else where. Also I wanted to thank all of you for your on going support and interest of the league, your questions and insight are helping the league to make improvement to bring you guys and Gals the best show possible. Thanks for the insight Tim. I was not aware of the single fight contracts. Seems like it would deffinitly provide some motivation to fight like a champ out there. My one question goes back to what you said about the rosters being locked for the playoffs. Currently the West division regular season is over. Should rosters be locked now? I love the idea of the Destroyers brining in a fighter to compete with Daniels, but this fighter was already on a different team. Is this fair, or would it be the same as them bringing in a non-claimed fighter? I guess these are all things for the WCL to explore as the league continues to develop.
One more thing....I hope Oklahoma and St Louis meet in the finals. A Longacre and Connors re-match will be too good! |
