Me personally, I would like to see the newbe fighter who stepped up in weight and took the place of an injured team member and recieved 4 wins with 2 KO's take daniels. He had the only KO on the Oklahoma team at the last fights. He set the team moral at the last 2 fights. Every time he fights he improves. Everyone thinks he cant stand a chance with daniels. You have no idea!!!!!! _________________ wcllover |

I'd still like to see someone with some KO power take him on. Maybe a guy like Kevin Engle or perhaps some pro not currently on the league. _________________ -Valiss |

I dont believe this is a thread to discredit Taylor. I think it is more of a discussion about who is actually going to get the nod by Mr. Cook. I feel like Taylor is a great fighter but not many people have fought 2 rounds with Daniels. I may just take 2 fighters to get the job done in the playoffs.
Again for me the question revolves around the process of sharing or trading fighters. When can it be done and when is it not allowed? |

Look, I'm not saying that Taylor can't KO Daniels, but according to this thread 1) Taylor hasn't even picked a weight class and 2) he's new to pro fighting as far as I can tell. Also, he hasn't fought in the WCL yet since they've only aired 3 matches, so it's hard to pick him over anyone right now.
To take on Daniels, I'd like to see a pro with a proven record fight Daniels and have the league stop throwing all these cans at him. Look at the Ronnie Copeland fight. Sure, Daniels had a nice KO but have you seen Ronnies others fights? He's not exactly a top P4P fighter and certianly isn't a force in the WCL.
Kevin Engle has the potential to take on Daniels, but his striking looks unfocused and he needs to get some better precision and timing down on his punches. All he does is wait to unload his right hand when he could be setting up other shots and wearing down his opponent with some leg kicks/body shots. Lastly, Kevin seems to often forget that since he is tall he has a reach advantage on many fighters.
So while I hope someone in the WCL can take on Daniels, what I'm proposing is that the league needs to bring in a veteran with a proven pro record to fight Daniels. _________________ -Valiss |

i never picked one over the other. and yes taylor is new to the wcl and new as a professional fighter. He has had 6 fights with the wcl his record is 5wins and 1loss 2KO's. and its not that he hasnt "picked" a weight. He moved up in weight to take ryan's place when he got hurt. I started this only to ask who they were going to have in the 178 div. i didnt know if they were going to bump taylor back down and find someone new to fight in the 178 div. against daniels. But anyway this topic is going a whole different direction. _________________ wcllover |

any why bring in a vetern to take the place of someone who's record isnt that far behind his team members who are veterns. But like i said before daniels is awesome and very tough competition. they need someone who can get in on the inside quick and have the KO power to back it up and that is taylor all the way. Bourelly was his first professional fight and his only loss in the WCL so i wouldnt mind seeing a rematch there either. _________________ wcllover |

SCOTT CLARK ONLY FOUGHT IN THE WCL IN THE OPENING BOUT OF THE SEASON. HE FOUGHT FOR DENVER, BUT COULD NOT COMMIT FOR THE SEASON BACK IN OCTOBER.
THAT MAKES SCOTT A FREE AGENT, AND COACH ALLEY OF DENVER HAS "BLESSED" SCOTT'S DECISION TO JOIN THE DESTROYERS. |

I personally am excited to see Scott Clark git Daniels a run for his money. The Destroyers have a very "inyaface" personality and from the 1 fight I have seen with Scott it seems like he will fit right in.

Well i say good luck to taylor (hopefully you will get the chance to show them what you can do.) You now have a chance at some actual competition. so its up to you to be full throttle and show them the KO power that your fans know you have. I've seen you KO guys 15-20 lbs heavier than you in seconds. This is your turf and everything you ever wanted..its up to you now...Good luck Jeri (we know your fight is in the bag~go get em gurl)...Anthony i dont even need to tell you good luck..Shit good luck to the whole destroyers team eventhough they dont need it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And could someone find out where the championships are at.. I'm poor (i'm a waitress in a SMALL town) and i need to buy my ticket therefore i need to know where i'm going?? so if anyone has any idea please let me know. _________________ wcllover |

If the LA Stars are in the finals, I hope they fight in California! Let's get some West coast love already and bring the WCL out to the golden state. _________________ -Valiss |

This is to answer the quedtion of where will the Championships be held, as I was last informed it is to be in Las Vegas. Looks to me as if this is going to be one heck of a playoff run for both divisions. Speaking for St. Louis we are ready and on a role and looking forward to returning for the oppertunity to defend our title against the best in the West, what a year its turning out to be, lots of excitement, as we all look forward to the coveted WCL Championship ring, may the best team win, and I hope all of you will be there to join in on the Full Throttle action. Irish Out
Its seems to me that the crowds are getting louder and louder, and what a rush that is |
