ronnie is good people and he came to the league a lil past his prime.
after that spin heel kick from raymond daniels that broke his jaw, he was not quite the same.
God love him, he is was and will always be a brave warrior and a class act. |

Well I am not ready right now either i need more time as well... Just keep fighting and then try out for it man.... We need to help the league expand by giving them more fighters.... And i agree there are a lot of great fighters from Canada as well.... _________________ Jake "The Tank" Shanks

Look, I certainly have nothing against Ronnie Copeland. The guy's definitely got heart and looks like he gives it his all in every match. He goes in there swinging and has been in the WCL since I can remember seeing it. But the fact is that in the WCL his record isn't that great. However, there is nothing to fret about; not everyone can be #1.

I agree Daniels is great to watch, the rest can be pretty boring. |

Most of the fighters on WCL can be very sloppy and have pour selection of technique. There are a few who have skills but I mus say the majority have to get it together. |

I find you people amazing. Ray, Jason, Jack and the rest of the point fighters almost weren't invited to the dance. Even then they were just shark bate. Wonderbread, Pogue, erickson were going to be the cream of the best. IKF kickboxing tough guys were going to lead the way to the big time. now they are just "can's". Most of the WCL fighters have more than respectable backgrounds. Raymond especially and Jason are just that good. |

Obviously we have some very opinionated people posting, everybodies a critic, and thats great because no league would survive without them. With that being said, I still find it difficult to personally stomache the battery of a warrior, from non-combatants or even part-time combatant, and especially those who obtain there martial arts ability from master hollywoo. There is not a person in this league that doesn't fight to be #1 and become the fan favorites. As this league grows I've seen more and more talent come into this league and I believe that this will continue to be the trend. What more do you want you have a powerhouse team like the Stars taking on a Cinderrella story NY Clash, this season has been packed full of knockouts, upsets, and warriors making there mark as pillars of the league. Yes there have been disappointment, but you learn from your mistakes and the league looks to find the most well suited warriors to fill the slots. If you want to make changes to the league, I suggest you submit resume and maybe you'll get the oppertunity to make the difference in this league. Personally I think the league is off to a great start and all the fighters are fighting hard to take home the glory, those who disagree, prove me wrong, or make a difference. Otherwise mind your tonge.

how are the fighters supposed to have time for technique?? they are supposed to go in there for a 3 min all out brawl...and if you go up against someone like bourelly and daniels who are naturally fast and you take the time to set up combinations and focus on technique your gonna get called for stalling....LA wont get called but the other teams will....(sorry i just had to slip that in)... but as i was saying.. their not being sloppy their just trying not to be the one who gets knocked out _________________ wcllover |

it is obvious that most of the intellects on this board don't know s*** from apple butter. to accuse raymond, jason jack, donald or any other of the point fighters of stalling is just plain stupid. No they are not going to do the brawling lets trade punches bs. If you want rockem sockem robots then the WCL is not for you. It is a 3 min FIGHT! those who lack talent or athleticism would just love to turn it into a 3 min caveman brawl and then complain about the sloppiness and lack of technique...crazy |

I didnt say anything abour point fighters, as a matter of fact Im a point fighter and I feel their the best fighters on WCL but the fact remains that most of the fighters on WCL are sloppy and have POOR SELECTION OF TECHNIQUE!!! If you cant see that then you are blind, not a fighter, a blind fighter or just a dumb fighter. |

Nice words, Irish Pride, and I whole heartedly agree. I have enjoyed the WCL since the start and do believe it will continue to grow and improve. My only gripe is that there are no matches in California! _________________ -Valiss |
