John Greubel and Stevie Dement. Both train out of Greubel's Mixed Martial Arts in Augusta Ga. John is a 5 time U.S. kickboxing champ and 2 time IKF world tournament champ. He is also undefeated, and has knocked out 4 of his last 6 opponents. Stevie is a middle weight that hits like a heavy weight and is also undefeated a s a pro! These two guys should really add some excitement to this years league.

Mark, The WCL news page stated there would be a fight-off this month between John and Tim Connors. Has that happened? If so, who won? Thank you.

Jesse Finney has told John that Connors is going to be first string so no need for a fight off between the two. John will be fighting this weekend at the fight offs in some type of exibition match or something. He won't be fighting Connors though. Stevie Dement and Kenny Lohre, however, will be fighting each other and the winner of that match will fight Calleros. As far as counting Calleros out I don't think anyone has done that. We in the kickboxing world already know that you are game. Not too many people have had a chance to see John or Stevie in action though. St. Louis should have a very strong Team this year. I can't wait for this season to start!!!

Thanks, Mark. I've seen John fight a few times including his KO's at the recent IKF Classic in Orlando. He was awesome! It would be a shame for him to be an alternate. I suppose Connors' success last year earns him the starting job. His popularity probably requires it for a league trying to make its best fighters known and keep them in front of the fans. Is there a chance for John to join a different team as the starter?

TO ALL THE WCL FANS THESE ARE THE TURF WARS, AND IF YOU WERE ON A TEAM WOULD YOU RATHER DEFEND YOUR GROUND WITH A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT GUYS THAT NEVER EVEN STOOD ON THE GROUND THAT THEY REPRESNT, OR WITH A BUNCH OF GUYS THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR AND IN MAKING THAT CHOICE I TELL YOU THAT EVERY PERSON ON THE ST.LOUIS TEAM KNOWS WHAT, WHO, AND WHERE THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR. ST.LOUIS IS BUILDING A WCL DYNASTY, THE REST ARE JUST LIVING IN OUR DREAM.

Keep your eye on this fighter this season. I know a little bit about her background, and she is sure to please fight fans this year.
