Why is Corey Shaffer all over Strikeforce ? ? ? I mean, what does he do for Strikeforce other than sit there on cable television looking soo out of place ?
Did he sell out the WCL for Strikeforce ? Don't see him doing much for this League.... |

I've noticed that most WCL fighters are now signed with Strikeforce. Maybe there is some partnership being worked out between WCL and Strikeforce. That could turn out to be pretty cool if that's indeed what is happening. _________________ www.mybodypotential.com |

Normally, in partnerships, both sides must add some value in order for there to be interest in a partnership. The WCL fighters are not under contract and Strikeforce is not looking to kill groundfighting and implement a team concept, so the WCL has nothing to add to Strikeforce. Seriously doubt there is anything "in the works" except for Strikeforce helping some talented WCL fighters get paid during this two year "off period".
With any luck, if the WCL moves forward, it will do so without Cory Shaefer. |
