I just watched the Tigers vs Destroyers on Versus. Who are the announcers. Where on earh did they find these chuckleheads.

It was bad enough to see the way the fights were scored. Example - Maceo vs Longacre. Maceo knocks down Longacre and then continues to do real well in the fight - the judges, they score it 15 - 11. So obviously they wanted the home town boy to get points. Should of been a 15 - 6 round. Knockdown should of made it 5 - 3 round. Judges called it a 5 - 4 round.

Longacre, was given a 10 count, still stumbled, but was allowed to continue. The announcers couldn't of favored Longacre more. Was rediculous.

Secondly. The announcers were so favoured to jerri sitz it was sickening. Had I known this, I would of turned off the volume. Every word was about Jerri. Offense, defense - this and that.
They mentioned Holland's "heavy hands" a couple of times - but was so favoured in Jerri's favour, i know why someone said that the Tigers should of felt like they got jip'd.

Ps. Gonzales did a great job with the Poster Boy. What a fight.
Sitz did a great job in the second round. Nice K.O.

Chuckleheads? I actually like the guy they got to replace Doug Dunbar; he has some hilarious lines. And the other two, Pete "Sugarfoot" Cunningham and Richard Norton: you really don't know who they are? Pete is a kickboxing champ and Norton has been commentating all season.

That said, I miss Mezger's commentary; I find him particularly insightful.

I haven't had a chance to re-watch the whole event, I just fast forwarded to the Longacre vs. Gonzalez fight to see if it was as bad as I remembered, it was... The fight was terrible to watch, you could hear the ref count to 10, then stop the fight to have Longacre's cut looked at, all the while Longacre was stumbling. The announcers said "this fight is over", it should have been... I still have no idea why the fight was not stopped with Gonzalez awarded a 15-0 win. I generally feel like Marc W. is the stronger ref, but this was just bad. He also did not stop the next fight in which Beck was getting completely punished (and not protecting himself) by Jarrell Miller. (credit to Beck for making it through a tough round, but the fight should have been stopped). I went into this event rooting for the West (both OK and LA) and by the end of the NJ vs. OK event I was rooting for NJ. After the event, I said the NJ fans should feel like they got the short end, and watching the tape only confirmed it...

Wow, overhandright, what are you like Munah's Hollands husband or something? Oh wait.. nm. You are. LOL.

One cold hard fact the New Jersey team has been avoiding is that we would not even be having these conversations if Coach Ron Schulmann would have put his starters in the second half?

I mean Melissa and Carlos are great fighters but how could you not put in Uriah and Munah. Didn't he watch Oklahoma's last fight? You guys lost due to coaching errors. Plain and simple.

So your saying that you are NOT from the Schulmann camp? That's hard to believe.

Oh I used to train in one of the Tiger Schulmann's MMA schools. So yes, you can say I am biased towards New Jersey. But Related ? Where you got that, I have no idea.

lol, you think the WCL announcers are bad, you should try the announcers on HDNET Fights. I was watching it tonight to see Daniels fight, and these guys are pathetic. The one guy barely speaks English and has told multiple bad jokes followed by laughing at himself.
