And another good fighter for New York:
GoKickbox.com wrote: | Making his WCL debut in the 235 lb weight class is K-1 and Kickboxing veteran, Patrick Barry. Berry has been fighting on the K-1 circuit since 2005 where he has wins over Mark Selbee, Scott Lighty, Gary Goodridge, and Rickard Nordstrand. He’s returning from and extended training camp in Amsterdam, Holland and will be taking on New Jersey’s John “The Panther” James who is 6-1 this season. |

Looks like New Jerseys is going to definitely have their hands full this time! _________________ -Valiss |

That's great that they are getting someone who has fought in the K-1 circuit. _________________ www.mybodypotential.com |

Any word on Jennifer Santiago. Heard she left via ambulance during half time at the Conference Finals.
Will she be ready to fight L.A. ? |

What happened to Santiago? I saw the fights live and it seemed like something wasn't right when she was fighting Holland. It seemed to be unrelated to the fight though, from what I could see from the crowd view. I am looking forward to seeing her and Alicia Ashley fight in Tulsa so I hope she will be present. I think the ladies competition in general will be great to watch. _________________ The shortest and surest way to live with honour in the world, is to be in reality what we would appear to be; and if we observe, we shall find, that all human virtues increase and strengthen themselves by the practice of them.

could any of you santiago fans out there please tell me how she won that fight with holland??? if you were at the fights then you saw how many times that girl fell and she still won... it really amazed me that they took a victory away from a woman that earned it and just gave it away... Santiago may be one of the best in the league, but that night she wasnt and holland deserved to win that fight. _________________ wcllover |

Didn't they already air this match on Versus? I thought I saw it.... but at the very least, a clip of it was on Turf Wars. _________________ -Valiss |

talking about the Conference finals in San Antonio - to be aired either June 7 or June 8th.
The match where Santiago wanted a "time out" in the middle of the fight. The match where the ref never gave her a standing 8 count. The match where for at least the last 45 seconds all she did was run away from holland. And of course, the match where no stalling points were given against her.
Feel bad about her back. Still, no reason to be "given" the fight. |
