What do you think would happen in a match between Tim Connors vs. Jack Felton? |

I cannot wait to see a match between them. I think Connors would win in a decision, but I do think Felton is a great fighter. |

I thought all the point fighers were getting knocked out in the first round. I bet Valliss thought Thompson had a shot at beating Ray.. |

But Stephen does have a shot at beating Daniels. And the next time they face each other I really hope he will demolish him because they both deserve it. |

I think Connors would win, I don't know about a KO in the first round though. Connors has such power and from what I saw in Austin I didn't see the same power from Felton. Felton's game seems to be more about speed, and from what I've seen, he is faster than Connors. With a little more experience in the WCL Felton could give Connors a run for his money. I think Felton is going to do really well in the WCL and if it was say Felton vs. Longacre, I think Longacre would be the one who got KO'ed in the first round. |

Can we talk about something other than the Daniels-Thompson fight? I think it has been covered well enough on this board. |

I don't necessarily want to talk about it, I just answered Big Jack's nonsense. |

Jean-luc-
I did not mean that to you specifically and I understand where you were coming from. I just feel as though we always get back to beating the same dead horse. Do you have an opinion on Felton vs. Connors or Felton vs. Longacre? |

I found Connors impressive. I think he would win against Felton although Felton is good too. I never saw Longacre fight, so I don't know. |

If you are interested and have access to the Versus channel, Longacre fights in the LA vs. Las Vegas Gators match, but you can check out the schedule at http://www.versus.com/nw/article/view/24669/?UserDef=true&catID=76 . It looks like it is airing on Friday (not sure about your time zone). |

I think Felton would beat Longacre. One potential caveat is Longacre's kneestrikes, those can take down anybody. |

I'm tempted to pull Jean luc's chain again :) but I won't... I knew I could get him post...I kind of missed his hmmmm open minded perspective's :) Felton is use to being the underdog. both Sante and Rawlings were suppose to beat on him. he and Ray have trained together since felton was in the 10 to 12 year olds. Ray is 5 or 6 years older. Felton is out of Jeff Smith's school of karate and Ray was out of the kenpo schools and also picked up a black belt from the Jeff Smith school of karate. Mr Smith wasn't to bad him self back in the day :) |

I haven't actually seen Felton fight; I made my comment tounge-in-cheek. But from what I have seen of Conners, I'd say he's got a good shot at anyone in his weight class in the WCL. Of course all we see is what they have shown on VS over the past few months, but I did read that Conners did well in the finals.
I'd also like to see Conners do some legwork. I know his background is in boxing, but man, he seems to rely a lot on punches (not that it isnt effective), but some kicks could change it up a bit. I'd hate to see someone get predictable. _________________ -Valiss |
