I looked on the Strikeforce website and did not see his name anywhere. Can you provide a source for your info? _________________ -Valiss |

Strikeforce....interesting, i never realized that there is a mma show on NBC, but when i check the schedule for this show, the website mentioned 2am on Sat.??? Is that the only show time? By the way, i can't wait to find out who Daniels is fighting with. |

Yeah they started showing it a month or two ago at that timeslot after poker. But it seems that they aren't showing it in all markets. They have been showing some older fights, including one of Cung Le's.
"The overall viewership of “Strikeforce on NBC,” which airs immediately following “Poker After Dark” every Saturday night (check your local listings for show time), has increased by an astronomical 197%, from 319,000 to 949,000, including a 58% jump between the two most recently reported weeks (949,000 from 602,000)."

Laughing hysterically!!! I've been waiting to see one of these WCL guys in an actual fight. Well... there wasn't much fight to it. Daniels got the snot whipped out of him. Maybe he needed more time on the Total Gym. These guys fight like Chuck Norris acts. |

The best MMA have superior ground skills just as the best kickboxers have superior legs. Raymond didn't have the experience for that fight, against a man who is considered average at best in the world of pro MMA. Apples and oranges , standup and grappling are two different things which take time to blend together. The top MMA fighters are quite exceptional for being able to combine the disciplines and adapt as necessary whether in a cage , ring with ropes, or a simple mat. |

Starting the second round Metcalf nailed him with a right coming in and Daniels was rocked. The guy goes through all that ceremony before the bell rings and doesn't throw a single offensive strike the entire fight. The sight of his arms uselessly trying to defend his overblown head was almost sad. I wish he had stuck around for an interview. His lips were so swollen he may not have been coherent. |

actually Ray was at a point tournament the next day. Hind site is always 20/20. however take the piss poor stand up out of MMA and all you have is a boring arse sport. If the money was the other way around you'd see MMA fighters crossing over thinking their stand up was good enough to hang with a Raymond and you'd see them being highlight reels.
What he did say after the fight was he t"otally underestimated the ground game"
after all the only exciting thing MMA has to offer is the Iceaman style KO's and hell we do that all the time. |

by the way the only thing he had was a slightly black eye. which says a whole lot when you have a guy pinned down for 5 min. |
