I cant even believe you started this topic. i hope you are ready for ALOT of critics. you can look at some of the past boards. they talk alot about danies. but me personally i love daniels. i think he is very quick and skilled, but i have been watching the wcl for a few seasons and i am tired of him winning. I cant wait to see someone knock him out just once. Does anyone know who he is going up against in may? _________________ wcllover |

I think Raymond is a great fighter with excellent timing and speed. That said, I don't he's been tested yet; the Thompson fight would have been that test if it didn't end the way it did. I've yet to see someone land a clean kick to his head or anything along those lines. Who knows, maybe he has a glass chin, maybe not. So if someone can catch him solid, or he fights a guy with a concrete head that he can't knockdown, then it'll be interesting to see what he does. It's just a matter of time until that happens.
Until then, he's entertaining as hell and he doing good things for the league and kickboxing as a whole. _________________ -Valiss |

Yeah, from what I've read online, Daniels fought Peyton as an undercard in K-1 2007 and TKO'd him in the 3rd round due to the 3-knockdown rule. Daniels is certianly the best P4P fighters in the WCL. I can't wait for the WCL to offer up some competition for him; this season has been a bust! _________________ -Valiss |

I agree that Thompson was the only one who could have challenged him back then... Daniels has improved, I don't know if that statement would be as valid today and I am a Stephen Thompson fan and would cheer for him to win.
Otherwise... finding someone that can out power Daniels, not too hard to do. But find that person with enough pure speed to catch him, the agility to make it connect, the ability to block his hands AND his feet, the experience to cut him off, to take away what he is good at???... the only one in WCL now with ALL that is maybe Jason Bourelly and he is just not big enough...
Of course everyone can be beaten, but I'm with bigj on this one, Raymond is just that damn good guys. |

I agree with everything about Daniels being that great... I look up to the man as a fellow fighter. I hope to accomplish the things that he has before I am done with fighting. He is the fastest.most explosive with the best timing that I have have ever witnessed. And for those of you whom have only got the chance to see him on TV you need to watch him in person he is so much faster than the camera gives a lot of the time. It will be a long while before he is even really tested due to how hard the guy trains. I am routing for the Stars over my home state Oklahoma Destroyers in May, because of the intensity that Raymond and Jason both bring.
Also it is not like that all the other fighters in Daniels' class arent top athletes either I mean they are in the pros fighting for Cash. So they are good at what they are doing. _________________ Jake "The Tank" Shanks
