Thunerkick picked up alot of momentum in Tulsa ,easily handling Shannon Hudson.Watching Felton's last fight with Hudson it's apparent Jack doesn't have anything for a fighter that really comes after him.I think Thomas has figured out how to run down point fighting" track stars."After the way Thunderkick blasted out "The Cannon" I think our boy Jack is in for a bad night. I think Jack's alternate is in for a bad night too.

Listen little d it takes some time to compensate to fight in an arena with no ropes where your opponent can run away.Longacre has had time now to learn how to fight someone who won't stand and fight.Look at Felton's fight with Hudson,Jack looked scared and confused against Shannon and nearly got knocked out. You think Jack doesn't know Thomas beat down Shannon in Tulsa. He literally blasted him into the second row! The WCL ring favors point fighters ,they can't be cornered and they just flip onto the ground when pressured.Thomas is going to make Jack fight him in a phone booth.Jack doesn't have the requisite physicality, skills or huevos for this kind of fight.Jack wil come out scared, get hit, start running, and get blasted out of the ring.Too bad this fight isn't in a ring with ropes. We could all get to see Felton carried out on a stretcher. So do me a favor.Keep talking smack for Jack. I'll embelish greatly and re-tell it to Thomas.I want him good and pissed-off when he steps in the ring with Felton. ......... lol fatboy lol

I really dont think we want to see anyone carried out on a stretcher. As far a Mr. Felton goes he seems to be one fine young man and good fighter. I am a big THUNDERKICK fan and i am sure that the fight will be a good one. The training that these fighters go through for a 3 min fight is amazing so getting into the ZONE is not for everyone. So i say love or hate them you still have to say they all are good.

I agree with Tuck, I think Longacre is going to pound him. I can't wait to see it. Felton came out strong this season, but after last weeks match on Versus, I saw all the holes in his game. Once he got rocked it was over, and I've seen Longacre take a number of clean shots and keep going. Felton, the gravy train is over!

GO THUNDERKICK!!!

I'm sure Jack is a fine human being. I didn't say I wanted the kid to leave on a stretcher.I meant if Jack was in a Kickboxing/Muay Thai match for 10rds in a regular ring with Thomas he would get sent to the hospital.I'll readily admit I'm not a fan of the point fighter style.Outside the WCL I just don't think it works.

I am really glad to see this thread. I am so sick of seeing Felton run like Carl Lewis around the ring. I bet he would win in a WCL track meet, but I dont think he can cuit it standing toe to toe with some of the power in 147 especially Longacre!! I do hope the official recognizes when jack starts to tuck his tail and run that is the definition of Pasivity.

I like thomas so I'm not going to dog him and if you like the rock em, sockem robot fighting so be it. Jack had both the matches in hand when he got stunned. If he fights like he did the first time with thomas or rawlings and guards his grill he'll win. if he gets stupid again and drops his guard on the break or gets lazy and doesn't guard his grill up on the red then I suppose he'll get dropped. He is 8-2 and becasue you people can't cut the ring off you want to dog him. lol,lol

At least the fight is taking place indoors.Outside you'd probably have to chase Jack into the next county. LMFAO! Laughing

maybe but I thiink the real issue is jack is running over some of the best combat martial artists in the world..... He is 8 and 2 He closes the gap better that anybody in the league. His inexperience is his vulnerablity. If I had to fight him I'd want him to sit still and quit cutting angles and using one's head as a speed bag which is usually the case.

Well you may view Jack's running around as cutting angles, and I know he's 8-2, but the kid doesn't have a chin. I wouldn't go far as to say that he has a glass chin, but when he got rocked and bloodied last week on Versus the fight was more or less over for him. After that he spent the rest of the round running and avioding getting KO'd. I think the other fighters in the weight class on their game will pick up on this and exploit it.

Also a good strategy I saw employed by Armin Mrkanovicin (when his opponent was running a lot) was not to chase him down, but just to walk towards them. Then it become obvious to the ref that Armin was advancing while the other guy was simply stalling, as opposed to "working the angles." Because to work the angles mean you have to actually go in a fight once in a while, not just avoid strikes.

Big J I know you love your kid but I hope you have a medical card for what you're smoking. Daniels is in another galaxy when it comes to closing the gap. Your boy doesn't use heads for speedbags his hands kinda suck,I've seen him live and the people around me jeered because the kid won't engage. If the WCL ever (please god start) starts penalizing point fighters for running away I think Daniels is the only one who could adapt and stick around.Jack just hasn't shown me the heart or the talent to think he could win a nasty in the pocket war and that is the definition of a fighter. Also there are a few very talented fighters in the WCL.There are a whole lot more that have a long ways to go.For over half these guys and girls the WCL is their first Pro gig.

we all have our opinions. he has a good chin not a great chin if you look at all his fights. none the less he hasn't fought well or how I've seen him in his career since the accident that almost took his life 1 year ago today. as a dad that concerns me as a fan he's 21 atheletic and a ton of potential. ray had trained jack since he was 11 or 12 years old, I forget. His strong point is his speed, timing and distance and his HANDS you guys aren't used to that style of karate. his vulmerabilty is his inexperience and inside defense. He'll be traing some more with Jeff smith and I'm sure Mr, smith, raymond, colin will address that.

good luck to thomas I obviously think jack is the best narural talent out there. I'm sure it will be a great fight, clash of styles and may the best man that night win...Jack of course :)

Guys, I think the criticism of Felton on this thread is not fair. The kid has been a complete class act and won 80% of his fights and a couple of posters are making it sound like he is terrible (he is a very good fighter). If I were predicting that outcome of the upcoming fight, I would pick Longacre to win (because he has looked great in his last couple fights). We should not forget, though, that Felton beat Longacre early this season (and did not run away from him to do it). Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to disrespect this kid seems childish. Hope it is a great fight either way.

Some people seem to be a little thin skinned to be around the fight game. There really is nothing more here than garden-variety smack talk. You guys should check out a Sherdog forum.I'm sure you would read things there that would singe your silky drawers.Point fighters are something I watch WCL in spite of not because of.There is a reason point fighting world championships come on at 3am if televised at all.I'm a long time avid fight fan(Boxing,K-1,MMA) and fans like me like to see heart and aggression in fighters. The WCL has skewed its rules to feature the least attractive style of fighters. This is a good formula to get that coveted 2am slot before the point fighting world champioships.Don't worry I don't think I'll post here anymore.I'd have to be so dull I would never be able to stay awake long enough to finish. As a parting shot I wish Chuck had stayed for the second half of the last San Antonio event. That way he could have heard over 3000 people BOO lustily when his ad came on shilling for Huckabee. Wink Adios credibility.
